BEIRUT: Ten people were injured when a passenger van collided with a car in the north Lebanon district of Akkar Saturday morning, the National News Agency reported.
The NNA said a Hyundai van collided with a Renault at the entrance of Qobeiyat, northeast of Tripoli.
The report did not specify the severity of injuries. They were moved to Al-Salam Hospital in Qobeiyat.
A photo of the accident showed that the van had overturned.
Lebanon's Traffic Management Center also reported the accident without giving an injury toll.
It was unclear if the accident was related to the heavy snowstorm that hit Lebanon this week.
Weather was sunny Saturday after two days of heavy snow across mountainous areas, but motorists are being warned about icy roads.
