BEIRUT: Two men on a motorcycle shot in the direction of a popular square in Jal el-Dib killing a 45-year man in the vicinity, a security source told The Daily Star Tuesday.
It was not yet clear if the victim, identified as Elie Kfoury, was deliberately targeted, the source told The Daily Star while speaking on the condition of anonymity.
Police have arrived at the scene of the incident and have begun an investigation to determine its circumstances by taking witness statements.
