BEIRUT: The wife of an Egyptian man said her husband was kidnapped in east Lebanon while on his way home, the National News Agency reported Saturday.
Hanine Muharram, a Saudi-Egyptian, told police that her husband, Mohammad Saeed Ibrahim Mahmoud, 32, was abducted in the village of Shamstar in Baalbek.
While on their way home in their white Mitsubishi vehicle, Muharram said a silver Grand Cherokee intercepted their car and men forced her husband out at gunpoint.
The four armed men then drove off with Mahmoud.
According to reports Mahmoud is a farmer who works in livestock trading.
