GENEVA, Ill. -- The Kane County Cougars plan to add several amenities to their stadium for 2015.
The Class A baseball team will install a high-definition video board, a premium seating area and music pavilion to Fifth Third Bank Ballpark for next season, the team told The (Aurora) Beacon-News (http://bit.ly/1xV1Jdt ). It also plans to add a new batting cage with two hitting tunnels.
The team is making the additions in part to improve the facilities for its Major League Baseball affiliate, the Cubs, majority owner Bob Froelich said.
But he said the improvements are also for the team's fans.
The improvements with be paid for without an increase in ticket prices, Froelich said.
